Having visited Egypt, it was a pleasure reviewing Pharaoh King Slots as I enjoy all of the ancient Egyptian theme-based slots. The first thing you will notice is at the top of the slot there are three keys: one red, one green, and one blue. Next to them is the current Jackpot amount. At the bottom, you will find the usual credits, bet, and balance titles as well as the buttons for select lines, bet per line, bet max, and spin. At the far right corner of the slot is the Choose Coin selector. Here you can choose from the following: 2 cents, 5 cents, 10 cents, 25 cents, 50 cents, and one dollar. Be sure to read the pay table as it will give you all the information you need regarding payouts and bonus features. Here’s a tip: Before playing the game, choose the coin denomination first and then click on Bet Max. In this way, all the lines will be in play. One more thing; you may not care for the notes that are played over and over again, so just turn off your speakers.
Egyptian Symbols
While the graphics are colorful, the symbols are one dimensional except for the scarab beetle whose wings flutter when appearing in a winning combination and the wild symbol that has a constant flame. The symbols include: the Pyramids, the Scarab Beetle, the Wild symbol, the three Keys, Earthen Jars, and cards ace through 10. The Pyramids symbol is the scatter and will pay out handsomely when you get two or more. The Wild symbol substitutes for all other symbols except the scatter when appearing in winning combinations. The Scarab Beetle is the jackpot winner when you get all five!
Keys to the Pharaoh’s Tomb
Perhaps the most interesting of all the symbols is the three keys. In order to activate the bonus round, you need to collect all three keys. When you get one, it will light up and when you get all three, you will be taken to a second screen where you will be asked to choose one out of seven earthen jars. The one you choose will hold your prize. The one I chose paid out 2500 coins!
